Questions you can ask to Uncover unreliable science:

  • Was the experiment well designed and did it involve a control group?
  • Have other scientists reproduced the results?
  • Does the hypothesis explain the data?
    Have scientists made and verfied projections based on the hypothesis?
  • Are there no other. more reasonable explainations of the data?
  • Are the investigators unbiased in their interpretation of the data and was all their funding of unbiased sources?
  • Have the data and conclusions been subjected to the peer view?
  • Are the conclusions of the results widely accepted by other experts in this field?

The answer to all of these questions has to be yes.
