Model: an overall framework for looking at reality. What is reality like (ontology) and what is the status and nature of knowledge (epistemology)
Concept: An idea deriving from a given model.
Theory: A set ofconcepts used to define and/or explain some phenomenon. A theory cannot be disproven but can only be found to be more or less useful.
Difference with hypotheses: hypotheses are tested in research, can be true or false.
relevance of hypothesis is validity, relevance of a theory is usefulness.
methodology: a general approach to studying research topics.
Method: a specific research technique.
