COREPER:
- Meets at least once a week. COREPER: filter beneath the Council, group of high-level preparatory bodies such as the political and security commitee, responsible for the CSP and the European Security and Defence Policy co ordination and beneath them, over 150 Council working parties.
Formal: prepares agenda and meetings of the Council.
Informal: Great deal of discretion about what is classifies as A points or B points on the agenda.
