8 steps in ABC cost calculation?

1. Define activities

2. Define the amount of fixed costs which are related to each activity 

3. Define the units how the activities are measured and quantified (time, space, resource units)

4. Calculate a unit cost for a unit of activity

5. See how many units of each activity are absorbed by 1 product

6. Multiply the unit of activities absorbeer with the unit activity cost for each activity seperately

7. Total all costs over all activities per unit product - and if asked, multiple with the number of of products 

8. Add the variable costs (labor and materials) for a total unit-cost calculation
