Investigation on cultural differences shows:

·         the Anglo culture has similar values and expectations to the US [leadership is seen as achieving results through empowering and motivating people]

·         Scandinavian countires share the same values as the Anglo cluster but differ in one respect that affects their whole approach to leadership – there is a quality of life in general; more relationships than results

·         Mediterranean cluster – leaders are seen as and expected to be more powerful
