2 ways to test a proportion/probability

 

1. binomial test. (example n=25 h0: pi=0.4 ha: pi=not 0.4

 

TS: y= nr of successes  in sample.

Under h0 y behaves binomial (25, 0.4) under Ha y tends to larger and smaller values.
